In this assignment you need to create your own blog post. It becomes easy once you have everything set up. To find out more about how to create a Blogger account and then to create/edit a post, visit the Blogging help page within the Help section:

First, take 1-3 sentences to introduce yourself: name, profession, year in doctoral program. Then create 3 headers and then appropriate content under each of those headers. A header is simply a title in bold text. The headers are:

• Professional Life
• Why a Doctorate
• Potential Project Topics

Underneath each header give us a paragraph addressing each issue. This allows others in the class to learn about their classmates in an easy manner. Posting potential project interests doesn’t commit you to anything, but at least it gives others a preliminary idea if there are others with shared interests in some area of cognitive psychology.

I highly recommend writing out this first post (and others in the future) in a word processor. That way if something goes wrong, you still have the content at hand to publish. Finally, make sure your first post is published.

When you go to Blogger make sure to title your post as “YourName Introduction” where you insert your name. It’s fine to use just your first name.
